Dermal Fillers
These are non-surgical cosmetic treatments used to restore a more youthful appearance by restoring volume and fullness to the face and lips. They work by reducing or eliminating lines, wrinkles and folds in the skin. The effect is seen immediately after treatment.
We use non permanent dermal fillers such as Hydralonic Acid. HA is found naturally in the body it attracts and stores water.
Dermal fillers are supplied in a pre-loaded sterile syringe for injection. A local anaesthetic cream is used to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.
Common side effects
Mild bruising and swelling may occur at the injection site. Sometimes there can be redness, itching or swelling. These are fortunately very rare.
